Ultimately Soul is the guy's tribute to the soul era, where the Funk Brothers ruled legends were born and Detroit gave birth to tracks that changed the course of musical history as we know it today.

Platform Soul

Platform Soul are an eleven piece band specialising in corporate functions, parties and weddings.

Formed in 1999 by a group of semi and fully professional musicians based in the Aylesbury / Milton Keynes area, our aim is to produce a high quality, high energy live performance of soul, dance and disco classics.

The band comprises of vocals, keyboards, lead guitar, drums, percussion, bass guitar and a superb four-piece horn section. This line up has been carefully put together to complement a set list which includes tracks by artists such as Earth Wind & Fire, Chic, Stevie Wonder, The Bee Gees, Shalamar, Donna Summer, Kool & the Gang, Michael Jackson plus many more.

100% live, playing classic 60's Soul, Tamla Motown, Atlantic, and Stax sounds.

The SoulMates are perfect for corporate functions, weddings, clubs and hotels with a wide & varied repertoire that is ever-evolving, and includes material from:

Groove Instinct

Established in late 2003, Groove Instinct came together when all the members met at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford where they all studied. The band has many years experience between them, and all members are of the highest quality on their instruments. Our vocalists know the importance of a good performance and can get the most from any audience, combine this with the strong rhythm section thats backs them and its guaranteed Groove Instinct will have the audience on their feet dancing.

A funky 5-piece packed with your favourite disco, funk & soul tunes. Devoted to making your event a total success, whether an intimate wedding or corporate function, they create the vibe to suit. Their endless energy guarantees a full dance floor!

Funk Monkeys have an extensive repertoire of disco, funk, soul and R&B. Every performance is a musical journey taking you from forgotten hits of your childhood to today’s top forty. Devoted to making your event a success, they offer a range of packages including a dinner jazz set, 70s Disco Tribute (for themed nights) or The Female Diva Show. All these packages can be augmented with additional brass & percussion to create an explosive 8-piece sound. Supported by a 3k PA system & lighting, they can adapt from a small intimate venue to large marquee, giving you the perfect sound whilst also providing a premixed Disco CD between sets to make your event seamless.
